Online booking only for Castlebar International Four Days Walks

The Castlebar International Four Days Walks return after a three-year absence from June 30 to July 3 next.

Established in 1967, the event has not been able to proceed since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic.

Now returning to its former home at the Ivy Tower Hotel in Newantrim Street, the festival has announced that because of Covid, a number of organisational changes have been made.

This year’s venue is particularly suitable as it is spacious and offers good outdoor seating facilities.

But the biggest change of all is the fact all registrations must be done online at www.castlebar4dayswalks.com.

While international walkers are already used to online booking, local participants are urged to register before the end of April.

Work is currently underway in planning routes and booking transport. So a clear indication on the number of walkers is now required.

To date, registrations have been received from 12 countries including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, USA, the Netherlands, Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Ireland.
