Passing of much-loved Castlebar woman Bridget Lawless
The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Lawless (née Stephens), Wheatfield Manor, Castlebar, and Grallagh, Ballyvary.
A member of a widely-known and popular family, she died peacefully yesterday in the wonderful care of Mayo Hospice.
Predeceased by her husband Tony, sisters Margaret, Sarah, Mary, Nora and Eileen, brothers Johnny and Frank, she is lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters Josephine Hall (Ballyvary), Kieran (Castlebar), Pauline McEllin (Manulla), Geraldine Doherty (Ballina), Tony (Dublin) and Danny (Castlebar), sister Kitty (Birmingham), brother Martin (London), daughters-in-law, sons-in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.

One described the deceased as "a lovely, gentle lady."
Her remains wil be reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and PJ Hall, Knockatemple, Ballyvary.
Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar (via Grallagh and Straide Road).
She will be laid to rest afterwards in Turlough Cemetery.
