Burke's Clonbur, who sponsored a race on May 3 last to celebrate their 100th anniversary, have become involved again returned to sponsor another race at Ballinrobe Racecourse this 2022 season.

Ballinrobe Racecourse has announced that every race in their calendar is now sponsored for the 2022 season.

Announcing the news, John Flannelly, manager, commented: “I can confirm that on Monday evening we secured a sponsor for the last race remaining to be sponsored in our 2022 racing calendar. Burke’s Clonbur, who sponsored a race on May 3 to celebrate their 100th anniversary, have come on board again to complete our race sponsors for the year.

“We cannot convey our appreciation to our sponsors and those who have sponsored with us over the years. Most remained with us throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and for our first season back to have a fully sponsored racing calendar shows the enormous support we receive.

“We are now looking forward to our two-day May festival next Monday and Tuesday (May 30 and 31) and indeed the rest of the season ahead.”
