Swinford firm win at National Enterprise Awards

A TECHNOLOGY business from Swinford has won a top award at the National Enterprise Awards.

Cubbie, representing Local Enterprise Office Mayo, scooped the Innovation Award at the national finals held in Dublin's Mansion House on Thursday evening.

Cubbie - founded by David McIntyre - manufacture the Cubbie Sensory Management System, which is a safe, comfortable and adaptable environment for people with a disability or special needs.

The safe space pre-empts sensory overload and allows the child or adult time to regulate.
