Civic reception taking place for Breaffy ladies rounders All-Ireland winners

A civic reception is taking place for the Breaffy ladies rounders team who claimed All-Ireland glory last year.

Last June, the rounders squad made history when they won their first ever All-Ireland GAA Senior Ladies title after beating defending champions Glynn Barntown (Wexford) in the decider by 8-6.

The squad will be honoured on behalf of cathaoirleach Councillor Martin McLoughlin and members of the Castlebar Municipal District.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 8, at 3 p.m. in the Leisure Complex, Lough Lannagh.
