Mayo fans have say ahead of clash against Derry, Dublin or Kerry

Mayo will play Derry, Dublin or Kerry in the quarterfinals of the All-Ireland SFC on the weekend of June 25/26..

And some supporters of the green and red believe the best prospect of success is for manager James Horan to start the team that finished yesterday's victory over Kildare at Croke Park

That would mean starts for Fergal Boland, Jordan Flynn, Padraig O'Hora, Darren McHale and Aiden Orme with the experienced Aiden O'Shea and captain Stephen Coen among those dropping to the bench.

Supporters have been expressing their views on social media with well-known broadcaster and journalist Michael Commins stating that none of the eight quarter finalists should have home advantage.

"Whoever they draw on Monday, Dublin should be taken out of Croke Park and their quarterfinal played down the country.

"I don't think Dublin would even object to this. No home games in the quarterfinals please. Support the rural economy."

It was obvious from the attendance at Croke Park yesterday that significant numbers of Mayo and Roscommon supporters spoke with their feet by staying away due to the controversial decision to stage their game at the Dublin venue.

In respect of Mayo's performances yesterday, Paddy O'Boyle said Mayo have two of the most dangerous forward playing in the full-back line.

Celia Coakley said Mayo should play the team that finished the match the next day out.

Bernie Preston stated: "Well done Jordan and Padraig. . .a great injection of passion and badly needed."

Francis McEveney said the team never gives up.
