Three members of Mayo-based athletic club selected for Ireland schools team

Three members of a Mayo-based athletic club have been selected to represent Ireland.

Seamus Clarke, Sean Nolan and Darragh Mulrooney – all members of Moy Valley AC, Ballina – will represent their country at next month's schools international in Belfast.

Seamus (3,000m walk) is a student at St. Muredach's College in Ballina, Sean (800m) attends Scoil Muire agus Pádraig, Swinford, and Darragh (3,000m) goes to Jesus & Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone.

They will form part of a strong Irish team to compete at the SIAB Track and Field Championships in Belfast on Saturday, July 16.
