Mayo town centre taxi rank in urgent need of a facelift

THE taxi rank at the bottom of Castlebar's main street needs a bit of a facelift.

There are a number of issues with the rank, Councillor Donna Sheridan stated.

It is badly laid out, signage has been turned and the lines are faded.

People are parking in the rank a lot of the time and the option was then not there for taxi drivers to pull in when they come along.

She asked who was the enforcement officer in respect of the rank.
