STELLA ROCHFORD, CONG

Stella Rochford (née Sheil) Lackafinna, Cong, and formerly Doneraile, Co. Cork, peacefully at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her father David, uncle Jackie, brothers-in-law Paul and Pat, mother-in-law Kathleen Rochford, niece Baby Eleanor.

Survived by her loving family, husband Niall, daughter Zoe (Conor), sons James and Niall, grandchildren Emily-Kate and Cillian, mother Nell, father-in-law Eric, sisters Joanne, Mary, Nora, Paula and Freda, brother Dick, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Lackafinna, Cong, on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arriving at Saint Mary of The Rosary Church, Cong, on Saturday for 12 noon Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Lisloughrey Cemetery, Cong. HUGH COSGROVE, CLAREMORRIS

Hugh (Matthew) Cosgrove, Dalton Street, Claremorris. Hugh died peacefully, in his 89th year, at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Patsy.

Hugh will be sadly missed by his sons Matthew and Michael, his daughters Karen and Ruth, son-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Janet and Virginia, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Robert, John and sister-in-law Fiodna, brother-in-law Greg, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris, (F12YP74) (Walk through only no handshaking please for duration of the funeral by request) from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday evening with removal afterwards to his home, Remains will arrive on Friday to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Funeral Mass at 4 p.m. Burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris.

ANDY DAFFY, BALLINROBE

Andy Daffy, Cornaroya, Ballinrobe, and formerly of Ennis, Co. Clare. Peacefully, in the loving care of the management and staff at Friars Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe.

Predeceased by his brothers Alan and Flan. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nan, sons Aidan and David, daughters-in-law Ann and Aoife, grandchildren Sorcha, Tara, Joe, Luke, Ben, Bobby, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Roposing at St.Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe (F31 H289) on Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. with private removal to his home. Cortège arriving on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Ballinrobe. House private please.

UNA DUIGNAN, BALLINA

Una Duignan (née Gallagher), California, USA and formerly of Cornboy, Carrowteigue, Ballina.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bridget Gallagher (Cornboy), brothers Tom (Cornboy) and Paddy (Birmingham), sisters Briddie (Glenamoy) and Evelyn (Swinford), son-in-law Sam.

Una will be sadly missed by her loving husband Walter, children Catherine, Coleen and David, sisters Margaret (Ohio) and Mary (Birmingham), brother Raymond (Kiltimagh), son and daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday the 16th of July at 2 o clock in the Star of the Sea Church, Cornboy. Interment of ashes will take place afterwards in Kilgalligan Cemetery.

MICHAEL GANNON, BALLA

Michael (Mick) Gannon, formerly of Acres, Newport, peacefully at Cuan Chaitríona Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his wife Nancy, daughter Marie. and his siblings, Bernadette, Sean, and Mary Alice. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughter Carmel (Navan,Co Meath), sons Michael (Westport), Paul (Monivea,Co Galway), grandchildren, brothers, sister, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Balla Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11.30 a.m. in St. Cronan's Church, Balla, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

SR. GRACE KEANE, KILMAINE

Sr. Grace (Maura) Keane, Ballymartin, Kilmaine. Peacefully at her residence, in The Holy Family Convent, 52 London Rd., Enfield, Middlesex. (EN2 6EN).

Sr., Grace is predeceased, by her parents, Patrick and Bridget, her brother, Brendan, her nephew, Martin Joseph, and her grand-nephew, Evan.

Sadly missed by her brother, Gerald, Ballymartin, Kilmaine, her sisters, Sr., Josephine Keane, Drogheda and Phyllis Doherty, Belfast. Most fondly remembered, by all of her nephews, nieces, her cousins and friends.

LYNETTE STICKELLS, CASTLEBAR

The death has occured of Lynette (Lynne) Stickells (née Carter). Formerly of Oughterard, Co. Galway and more recently Ross, Castlebar, in the wonderful care of the Staff at Galway Hospice.

Greatly mourned by her daughters Janine Corcoran and Taryn Schuller, her son in law William Corcoran, Loughrea, her sister Patricia Williams in Canada, her sister Hilary Kingston in the UK and her siblings in South Africa - brothers Michael Carter and Richard Carter and sister Rosemary van den Berg, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews in England, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand.

Lynne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, at 12 noon at Walsh's Funeral Home, Main St., Oughterard. The service will be presided by President Casserly. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery.
