Mayo island hosts its first Cúl Camp

A MAYO island has hosted its first ever Cúl Camp.

Held in glorious sunshine, the camp on Inishturk was one of the most scenic venues of the summer series.

The island reported a hugely successful event, and extended thanks to Billy McNicholas, Mayo GAA games development manager, and coaches Ashleigh Rose and Emma Jane Gill, as well as the parents and all the children who took part and enjoyed a fun week.
