Repair works completed in Ballina following a burst watermain

Irish Water, working with Mayo County Council, have completed repair works following a large burst to a watermain in Ballina in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, August 14).

Speaking about the completion of the repair works, Sean Higgins from Irish Water said: “Crews from Irish Water and Mayo County Council completed the repair works at approximately 4 p.m.

"The majority of customer should have their water supply returned at this stage but it may take a little while longer for some areas.

“I would like to thank everyone for their patience and co-operation throughout this unplanned outage.”
