PETER CARROLL, CHARLESTOWN

Peter Carroll, Market Square, Charlestown, peacefully, at his residence.

Funeral service will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) this Thursday at 12 noon followed by cremation.

JOHN HONEY, BALLINA

The death has occurred of John Honey of Market Square, Ballina and formerly of Tottenham, London. Peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents, Lillie and Ted. John, beloved father of Conor and Jenny, sadly missed by his loving son, daughter, Conor’s mum Anne, brother Gary (U.K.), sisters Jean, Janice and Julie, grandchildren Daijon and Jeniyah, stepmother Rosemary, Conor’s partner Shauna, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday evening from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Ballina. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

PETER JULIAN RAFFTERY, KNOCK

Peter Julian Rafferty, peacefully in Rochester, Victoria, Australia, after a short illness. Native of Bendigo Australia and formerly of Eyrecourt, Co. Galway and Ferns, Co. Wexford.

Predeceased by his parents Leo (1992) and Marie (2020) in Bendigo. Grandson of the late Peter Rafferty and Grandnephew of the late Fr. Patrick Rafferty formerly of Ballintrain, Sixmilecross, Co. Tyrone. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters in Australia: Carmel, Garry, Pauline, Patrick, Gavan, Gerard and Neil and their families and his many cousins and friends in Co. Tyrone and other parts of Ireland and Australia.

Requiem Mass will be offered at the Church of St John the Baptist, Knock Shrine, on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. followed by burial of ashes in Knock Cemetery.

FRANK SHAUGHNESSY, KNOCKROE

Frank Shaughnessy, Knockroe and Cloghans Hill, Tuam. Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Eileen and Michael, brother Martin Joe. Deeply regretted by his brother Michael, sisters-in-law Ann and Mary, nieces Kathy, Karena, Aoife, Claire, Jenny, Amy and Leanne, nephews Keneth, Matt, Kevin, Darragh, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Funeral Home (F31H289) Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening from 6 until 7.30 p.m. Funeral cortège arriving on Wednesday morning to St. Patrick’s church Kilmaine for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with the funeral proceeding to Roundfort Cemetery.

TONY COLEMAN, FOXFORD

The death has occurred of Tony Coleman, Corranduff, Curloman, Foxford, peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar in his 99th year.

Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Ellen, his brothers and sisters Paddy, John, James, Joseph, Maggie, Nellie and Mary. Tony will be dearly and lovingly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Tony will repose in Clarke's Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5.30 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to St. Michael's Church, Foxford. (walk-through only at the funeral home and at the church and no handshaking please, by request). Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery.
