Death of former Mayo school principal is deeply mourned
The death has occurred of Eamonn Jennings, Magherafadda, Ballyheane, Castlebar.
A former principal of Ballintubber National School, he was held in high esteem and respect in the community.
The deceased was involved with Castlebar Athletic Club for many years.
Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (née Brennan), his parents John and Annie and his son-in-law Michael Mullahy, he was dearly loved father of Tricia Liddy (Castlebar), Geraldine Molloy (Ballyheane), Cathy Mullahy (Castlebar) and Attracta O'Donnell (Dublin) and adored grandad of Emma, Eva, Matt, Rian, Danielle and Aaron.
He will also be sadly missed by his sons-in-law John Liddy, Brendan Molloy and John O'Donnell, brother Sean (Galway), his sister Maura Hennelly (Ballinasloe), his sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
Eamonn will repose at Ballyheane Community Centre tomorrow (Tuesday) from 6.30 to 8 p.m.
Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Ballyheane, on Wednesday at 11.10 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m..
Afterwards he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Kathleen in Ballyheane Cemetery.
