Westport road closure for filming project

A SLIP road in Westport town centre is to be closed later this month to facilitate a filming project.

The slip road is at the Octagon and it is proposed to close it for four days.

Mayo County Council has published a notice about the temporary closure and members of the public are invited to make submissions.

The Octagon slip road will be closed from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, to 6 p.m. on Friday, September 30.

Any objections or observations regarding the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing not later than 4 p.m. on September 9 to Padraic Walsh, Head of the Westport- Belmullet Municipal District, Westport Civic Offices, Altamont Street, Westport.
