Mayo karate star launching his own academy

Mayo karate star Aaron McLoughlin has announced the opening his own karate club, the Mayo Karate Academy.

Having represented Ireland, won multiple national and international titles - including being Ireland's first European championship medallist - he has decided it is time to share his knowledge with the next generation.

Classes begin at Foxford Leisure Centre on September 27 from 7 to 8 p.m., suitable for all from age six upwards.

There are free trials classes on offer.
