New investment in Mayo hospitality sector is praised

An elected member of Mayo County Council has extended his best wishes to Castlebar man Paudie O'Malley and his staff on the opening of the new restaurant, Mill Lane, just off Main Street in the town.

Stated Councillor Ger Deere: "Paudie is no stranger to the hospitality business in the town and this new venture will be great for Castlebar.

"Situated just behind Vaughan's Shoes in the car park, the new restaurant looks fantastic.

"No doubt it will be a favourite with both the locals and the visitors, who will be using the Greenway.

"Well done Paudie."

Paudie previously ran the Brewery Cup at Hopkins Road in the town for many years.
