Ebike hire company opens first Irish-based operation in Mayo

Lime Micromobility, one of the world's biggest ebike hire company's has opened up its first Irish-based operation in Castlebar.

The new service is located at Lucan Street in the town centre.

There will be an official launch tomorrow by the company.

Local Councillor Ger Deere has welcomed the news, stating the investment is a huge vote of confidence in Castlebar by Lime.

"In a climate of active travel and sustainability I believe that there will be a huge take up from the public in this service," he added.
