Events for every business during Mayo Ideas Week

‘TAKING on the Future with Confidence’ is the theme of Mayo Ideas Week 2022, which takes place from Monday to Friday, October 3 to 7.

The week is filled with practical and relevant events for businesses in Mayo, some in-person and some online but all are free of charge. Mayo Ideas Week comprises a series of idea generation, entrepreneurship and business events hosted by the enterprise development agencies and organisations in County Mayo.

“Mayo Ideas Week focuses on what SMEs in the county need right now,” explains John Magee, head of enterprise at Local Enterprise Office Mayo. “Each of the organisations involved has used their own expertise and industry knowledge to create events that will genuinely make a difference to the businesses who attend.

“We have events on everything from sustainability and emerging digital trends and technologies, to engaging with the circular economy and accessing international markets. We urge every business to check out the programme and register today.”

The wide range of events will be of practical relevance to new businesses and existing businesses that are looking for new opportunities and want to hear of new developments that will impact them.

The week culminates with ‘Meet Mayo’, a major B2B networking event at Ballinrobe Racecourse to which all Mayo-based businesses are invited. Meet Mayo is an exceptional opportunity to make new connections to benefit your business. In addition, all the enterprise and support agencies will have stands.

Events will be held at different venues around the county by the following enterprise development agencies and organisations: Local Enterprise Office Mayo, Enterprise Ireland, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Western Development Commission, Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB, ATU Sligo, South West Mayo Development Company, Mayo Education Centre, Regional Skills West, Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Castlebar Chamber of Commerce.
