Mayo rural community issues alert over robberies in area

The community alert initiative in the villages of Bofeenaun and Lahardane in Mayo have issued a warning after a report of robberies in the area.

"Someone is around properties at night and items are being stolen.

"Be vigilant," the alert outlined.

An Garda Siochána has been made aware of the situation.
