Garda Síochána confirm Mayo superintendent appointments

AN Garda Síochána have issued details of superintendent appointments in Mayo in an update on the new Garda Operating Model this morning.

Three superintendents will be based in Mayo.

The following allocations have been confirmed in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Garda Division in line with the Garda Operating Model:

Superintendent Gareth Walsh, Ballina Garda Station, responsibility for Mayo North Community Engagement Functional Area.

Superintendent Gabriel Moran, Claremorris Garda Station, responsibility for Mayo South Community Engagement Functional Area (Claremorris).

Superintendent Joseph McKenna, Castlebar Garda Station, responsibility for Mayo South Community Engagement Functional Area (Castlebar).

Superintendent Francis Nicholson, Roscommon Garda Station, responsibility for Roscommon Community Engagement Functional Area.

Superintendent James Boyle, Longford Garda Station, responsibility for Longford Community Engagement Functional Area.

Superintendent Thomas Calvey, Roscommon Garda Station, responsibility for Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Performance Assurance Functional Area.

Superintendent Thomas Colsh, Castlerea Garda Station, responsibility for Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Crime Functional Area.
