Mayo clubs advance to national stages of FAI Junior Cup

Manulla and Castlebar Celtic both advanced to round four of the FAI Junior Cup.

In a five-goal thriller, Manulla beat Sligo champions Carbury in wintry conditions in Carramore in a contest that saw Carbury finish with nine-men, Riain O'Connor, Sean Sweeney and Liam Timmiss netting for the men in blue.

Celtic safely advanced courtesy of a 2-0 win away to Ballinasloe Town. An own goal in the first half put the Hoops ahead before Jordan Loftus scored seconds after kick-off in the second half.
