Mayo-based artist selected for New Voices of Ireland exhibition

MAYO-BASED visual artist Kate Kelly is one of 10 artists selected for the 2022 New Voices of Ireland (series 9).

Selected paintings from her two bodies of work, Keeping Sight of a Fragile Humanity and Taking a Stance, were chosen for the project.

The project is run by the Centre of Creative Practices and funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.

The project exhibition titled The Wartime Art Archives continued was formally opened by Maureen Kennelly, director of the Arts Council. Also in attendance and addressing the event were the Ukrainian and Polish Ambassadors.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, November 27, at The Gallery, The Complex, 21-25 Arran Street East, Dublin 7.
