Mayo Fire Services called out to car park after alert

The Mayo Fire Service has been called out to a car park in Castlebar after an alert was raised.

Members of the unit attended the scene off Market Square in the town centre after concerns were raised in respect of an unoccupied parked vehicle.

Witnesses spotted a hose being inserted under the bonnet of the car to address the issues.

The successful operation took over 20 minutes to complete and was observed by several members of the public.
