DR. REX DARK, WESTPORT

Dr. Rex Dark, Pearce Terrace, Westport and late of Moylough, Co Galway. Suddenly, at his residence.

Sadly missed by his brother Michael, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Navin's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 XR 61) on Saturday, December 10, from 1 to 2 p.m. Removal to Holy Trinity Church of Ireland (F28 HK31) directly afterwards for funeral service at 2.30 p.m., followed by private cremation.

MICHAEL J. CAROLAN, BALLINA

Michael J. Carolan, Seanbhaile, Glengad, Pullathomas, Ballina, peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his father Denis Carolan and mother Mary (née Connell) and infant son Michael Denis. Beloved husband of Teresa and dear father of Mary and Grace and adored grandfather to Reuben, Christopher, Jayden and Harry. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, sons in law P.J. Conroy (Lenarevagh, Glenamoy) and Kevin Sheridan (Glengad), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 5 O’Clock until 7 O’Clock. Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Inver on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Pullathomas Cemetery.

CATHERINE FLYNN, CASTLEBAR

The death has occurred, suddenly at her home, of Catherine Flynn (née Doherty (better known as Cathy), Creeragh, Castlebar and formerly of Derrintogher, Ballyhaunis.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary (née Heneghan) Doherty and her sister Bridie Dillon. Dearly loved wife of Pat and loving mother of Tom, David and Katriona, adoring granny to Sadhbh, Donnacha, Roisin and Flynn.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law David and daughters-in-law Sarah and Christine, her brothers Stephen, Paddy Joe and her sisters Mary Mulgrew and Noreen Regan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Cathy will repose in the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Thursday from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Friday at 11.45 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Afterwards Cathy will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.

WILLIAM MCKENNA, KNOCK

The death has occurred of William "Billy" McKenna, Drumcrest, Knock, Co. Mayo and formerly of Ashtown Lane, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow. William died, peacefully at the Queen of Peace Nursing Home, Knock.

Sadly missed by his sister Kitty, sisters-in-law Kath, Betty and Bridie, nephews, nieces, family and friends in both Roundwood and Knock. A special mention both to his neighbours in Ashtown Lane, who fondly remember him and to the very kind staff at The Queen of Peace Nursing Home, who showed great kindness to William and to those visiting him.

Reposing at Marian Funeral Home, Knock (F12 A726) on Friday morning from 9.30 to 10.30 a.m. Removal to St. John the Baptist Church, Knock, for Mass at 11 a.m.. Burial after Mass in the local cemetery, Knock.

JULIA MULDERRIG, BOHOLA

The death has occurred of Julia Mulderrig (née Conlon), Altbawn, Bohola, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, brothers Jimmy, Johnny, Joe and her sister Mary. Julia will be sadly missed by her heartbroken and loving family, her sons Michael, John, David, Francis, her daughters Shirley (Kilcoyne) Curry, Angela (Duddy) Kiltimagh, Caroline (Golden) Ballymote, daughters-in-law Mary, Attracta, Sandra, Sharon, sons-in-law Michael, Frank and Jim. She will be deeply missed by her adored 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters Anne, Teresa and Winnie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at O’Hora’s Funeral Home, Kiltimagh F12 Y1F7 Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday at 12:00 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Saint Joseph, Bohola followed by burial in Kilkinure Cemetery Kiltimagh.
