Major housing projects before council for approval

PLANS to construct 28 new homes in Aughagower have been submitted to Mayo County Council for approval.

The units comprise five two-bed detached single storey houses, 19 three-bedroom detached two storey dormer houses and four four-bedroom detached two storey houses.

The development address is Knockakeery, Aughagower.

The application has been made by Simon Oliphant.

CLAREMORRIS

In the south of the county, a 30-unit scheme is being proposed in Claremorris.

Developer Brendan Byrne & Son hope to construct 30 houses - 14 three-bed semi-detached houses, six four-bed detached houses and 10 two-bed terraced bungalows at Elm Park, Clare, Claremorris.

THE NEALE

A smaller 10-unit development is earmarked for a site in The Neale.

Application has been made for the construction of six four-bedroom, two three-bedroom and two two-bedroom houses at Ballyshingadaun, The Neale.

The applicant in that development is Gerard Warde.
