ESB crews working to restore power in Mayo parishes

ESB Networks crews are currently working to restore power to homes in Aughagower, Westport, and Killadoon, Louisburgh.

The damaging dusts have been taking their toil in a number of communities throughout the day.

Outages were reported earlier in Ballinrobe, Ballycastle and Ballina - but they have since been repaired.

The Status Yellow wind warning for Mayo expires at 2 a.m. tomorrow.

It will remain windy overnight with showers continuing.

Lowest temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees with fresh to strong westerly winds are forecast.
