NOREEN ATKINSON, LOUISBURGH
Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy) (née Wallace), Ruislip, Middlesex, England and formerly of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath and Louisburgh, peacefully.
Beloved wife of Brian and the late Eamonn and dear mother of Paul and Louise. Noreen will be very sadly missed by her husband and family, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Natasha, Heather, Aidan, Pearse and Christy, her brothers Anthony, Stephen and Tommy, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford, Middlesex, England, followed by cremation at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip. The Mass can be viewed at Our Lady of the Visitation. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday at at 12 noon in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
JOHN HENRY BOURKE, MAYO
John Henry Bourke, Dalysfort Road, Salthill, Galway / Dublin / Mayo / Limerick / Sligo, (peacefully) in the company of his family. Dearly beloved son of Peggy and the late John F. and much-loved brother of Geraldine and Brian. Deeply mourned by his heartbroken mother, brother and sister and by their families; brother-in-law Dominic, sister-in-law Sara, his adored nephew and nieces Ann-Marie, Seán, Isabel, Ava, Caitríona and goddaughter and niece Grace, uncle Frank, auntie Pauline, his cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway today from 4 o’c. with Removal at 6 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive at 6.30 p.m. approximately. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 10, at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery.
FRANK MCDERMOTT, CHARLESTOWN
Frank McDermott, 10 Fairgreen, Charlestown, and late of Tubbercurry and London peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Mayo University Hospital and previously St. Attracta's Nursing Home, Charlestown.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick John and Frances, his siblings John, Vincent, Ignatius, Nicholas, Maureen, Frances, Louise, Ann and nephews Oliver and Declan. will be remembered and sadly missed by his sister Eleanor, sisters-in-law Delia and Maureen, his many nieces and nephews and friends.
Frank will repose in the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown this evening from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. with removal to St James's Church, Charlestown arriving for prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 a.m. followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium.
ANTHONY MCGOWAN, BOHOLA
Anthony McGowan (Jnr), Laughtadurkan, Bohola, peacefully at Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his granny Winnie, grandads Paddy and John, uncle Michael, aunt Mary and cousins Patrick and Michael. Deeply regretted by his loving parents Tony and Áine, brother Francis, granny Catherine McHugh, uncles Pat and Sean, aunts Marian and Kathleen, cousins, neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing at his home in Laughtadurkan on Friday evening from 3 to 7 p.m. Removal on Saturday Morning to St. Lukes Church, Meelick for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. followed by burial Meelick Cemetery.
