Network Mayo hosting International Women's Day event
JOIN Network Ireland Mayo in collaboration with Local Enterprise Office Mayo to celebrate International Women's Day 2023. This free event will be held at Breaffy House Hotel in Castlebar on Wednesday, March 8. It is open to all women in the business community in Mayo.
The theme of this year's International Women's Day is #embraceequity. The event aims to encourage discussion and exploration of this theme with four female panellists from across the Mayo business community. The panellists will share their perspectives and experiences on how embracing equity can help drive success for all.
The event will begin with registration and an informal networking breakfast at 8.30 a.m. MC for the event is Melissa Moore, president of Network Ireland Mayo. The event will commence at 9 a.m. and following this, a panel discussion will take place from 9.15 until 10 a.m.
After the panel discussion, there will be a one-hour informal networking session, giving attendees the opportunity to expand their network and connect with like-minded women from the business community. The session will also provide an opportunity for attendees to avail of 1 to 1 speed mentoring to answer any burning business questions they may have. Topics include Human Resources, Finance, General Business, Marketing, Sales, and E-commerce/Social Media.
Said Melissa Moore: “This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate International Women's Day, explore the theme of equity, and make new connections in the Mayo business community.”
The event is free, but registration is essential. So, register today to secure your place and be part of the celebration of women's achievements.
John Magee, head of enterprise, LEO Mayo, said: “Local Enterprise Office Mayo is delighted to partner with Network Mayo on this event as part of our wider Local Enterprise Week programme. We have a long track record of supporting and celebrating female entrepreneurship and this event brings together accomplished businesswomen from across Mayo who will share their experiences and stories.
“The networking and speed-mentoring elements are particularly valuable, and I would strongly encourage people to join us on the morning.”
