Three Mayo League players make Connacht squad

Connacht joint-managers Gareth O’Gorman and John Loftus have named three players from the Mayo Football League in their squad for this weekend’s FAI Michael Ward Interprovincial Tournament.

Goalkeeper Gary Cunningham and strikers Ben Edeh (Ballyheane) and Benny Lavelle (Ballina Town) all made what is a very strong squad.

There are also representatives from Strand Celtic, MCR, Athenry, Carbury, Salthill Devon, Moyne Villa and Colga.
