Emergency services called to scene of Mayo accident

The emergency services were called to the scene of a road traffic accident in the village of Breaffy, near Castlebar, earlier today.

An Garda Siochána, along with members of the local fire brigade and ambulance personnel, attended the local of the crash.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the accident, one of whom was transferred by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital for treatment.
