Conn Rangers and Swinford maintain 100% records in Mayo Women's League

STRAIDE & Foxford United got their first points on the board in the Mayo Women's Football League on Friday evening.

Natasha Gaughan hit the net two minutes into their match away to Crossmolina, and followed up with a second goal early in the second half to secure the win.

Also on Friday evening, Conn Rangers and Swinford both kept their 100% records intact. Conn hit Ballinrobe for six - Leah McHugh with five of the goals in a 6-1 outcome, while Swinford, on their travels to Killala, chalked up a 4-1 win courtesy of a Beth Roache hat trick and a Kaitlyn Jordan strike on 35 minutes.

Manulla were beside the sea on the Erris Peninsula when Kilmore hosted their first home game of the season Sunday lunchtime, with the visitors taking full points there. After a great run by Tara Ryan, Mary Reilly was on hand to slot home the rebound off the Kilmore 'keeper.

Manulla will be on the road again next weekend with a trip to Donegal where they face Bonagee United in the second round of the Women's FAI Amateur Cup.
