MUGA in central Mayo town has been upgraded

WORKS to upgrade the MUGA in Balla have been completed.

The facility has a new surface, with works completed yesterday (Wednesday).

Councillor Donna Sheridan was delighted to tell her municipal district colleagues, at their monthly meeting, that the MUGA is now finished.

In welcoming the works, she expressed thanks to the team who worked on the project.

It had become very dangerous and people had received injuries on it, she explained.

The finishing of the project was welcome news for the community.
