Official opening of east Mayo community's new playground

A RURAL Mayo community will celebrate the opening of its new playground this afternoon (Monday).

The Ruaille Buaille playground in Tooreen will have its grand opening at 1 p.m.

The playground and MUGA facility is a much welcomed boost for the local community.

Its official opening will be marked with a family fun day, children's activities and refreshments.

The site of the new facility is at the old MUGA court in Tooreen, and is adjacent to St. Brigid’s National School.
