Mayo referee appointed for Munster football final

Mayo referee Jerome Henry has been appointed to officiate the Munster senior football championship final next weekend.

Henry, a Castlebar Mitchels club man, will be in charge as defending champions Kerry take on challengers Clare in the LIT Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, at 4 p.m. on Sunday (May 7).

Meanwhile, in Castlebar, Kildare native Brendan Cawley will referee the Connacht senior football championship final between Galway and Sligo.

That match will throw in at 1.45 p.m. in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, also on Sunday.

Prior to the senior men's final, the Connacht LGFA senior decider between Mayo and Galway will be played in the Castlebar venue, throwing in at 11.30 a.m.
