Memorial walk in honour of Mayo historian, the late Brian Hoban

A special memorial walk is taking place this month to honour the late Brian Hoban, a man who was a mine of information about local Castlebar history and was generous in sharing his time and knowledge with others.

The Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail are hosting the walk on Saturday, May 13, starting at Killawalla Community Centre and walking 16 kilometres to Aughagower.
