League of Ireland player to take over the family pub in Bohola

The small village of Bohola is buzzing with excitement as John Mountney, a current player for Dundalk F.C., prepares to take over the iconic Village Inn Pub.

John Mountney has garnered cult status at Oriel Park in the LOI, his work as a winger in the league has seen him play for Mervue United, and St Pats, now in his second spell with Dundalk FC. With a stint under the guidance of current Republic of Ireland manager, Stephen Kenny, during his time at Dundalk F.C, Mountney showcased his skills on a European stage, making 10 appearances in the UEFA Europa League.
