Additional signage would aid visitors to county town

VISITORS to Castlebar would benefit from some additional directional signage in the Market Square.

The suggestion was put to Councillor Ger Deere by some recent visitors to the town.

He subsequently raised the matter at a municipal district meeting.

Councillor Deere said there is a map of the town at the Mall but the Market Square would be an ideal spot for one. There is no directional sign there for around the town.
