Roadworks to temporarily close route to Mayo beach for one day

IF you're planning a trip to Achill Island, and Keem beach in particular, the road to the beach will be closed for one day this week for improvement works.

Mayo County Council has advised that road surface dressing works are due to take place on the R-319 access road to Keem beach this Thursday, June 22.

The road will be temporarily closed, with local access accommodated, and delays are expected.
