Moy Davitts girls Under 12 team after being presented with their new jerseys in Foxford.

Double delight for Moy Davitts girls

A Dublin-based Mayo businessman has seen a good return on his investment in his local GAA club back home.

It was a case of double delight for the Moy Davitts Under 12 girls who won a county title on their first outing sporting new jerseys sponsored by James Durkan.

The Under 8 boys are also togged out with a new kit thanks to James' support.

Durkan, a native of Foxford, set up Moneysave 14 years ago and the company has grown into one of the biggest insurance brokers in the country. They offer many different insurance products but specialise in the life and health insurance space.

With their base in Dublin they cover the 26 counties and have customers in every corner of the country.

Moneysave have won the best health insurance broker in the country award for two years running, and are looking to make it a hat-trick this year.

When Moneysave got the opportunity to sponsor two of the teams at Moy Davitts, Durkan jumped at the chance.

Even more special was that his niece Meave is on the Under 12 team and his nephew Conor on the Under 8 team, and these are the two teams Moneysave have sponsored.

To make it even more special, on the first game that the girls got to wear their new jerseys, they went out and won their county final against Castlebar Mitchels at the centre of excellence in Bekan.

Moneysave and all the team look forward to following the success of both teams.
