Mayo GAA All-Star squares off against rivals in stud wall showdown

Before this weekend’s action-packed football schedule, three GAA All-Stars are clashing on the building site in episode two of the.

Having defeated Galway last weekend, will it be another win for Mayo’s Aidan O’Shea or will Galway’s Shane Walsh get his revenge in this week’s challenge?

Speaking on his experience during the challenge, O’Shea said: “I haven’t been in workwear (on site) in about 15 or 16 years, so I wasn’t too sure how it was going to go. I really enjoyed it and will look to put it to some good use around the house in the coming months.”

Talking about this year’s championship and the integration of the younger players to the team, the Breaffy man added: “They’ve been with us the past few years and I think the experience has been good for them. We are really seeing the fruits of it now especially having developed in the league.”

While he will be clashing with Kerry this weekend, Tyrone’s Conor Meyler is out to give the Connacht men a run for their money too in this week’s exciting challenge.

Speaking about this campaign, Meyler commented: “I feel we’ve been building nicely with a solid league campaign, (it was) disappointing in Ulster but I think it gave us a bit of time to sit back and reflect and hopefully allow us to build some momentum into the later stages of the championship.”

Who will emerge as this week’s winner as we reach the halfway point of our GAA Job Swap series?

Hosted by Michael D. McAndrew of Midwest Radio and under the watchful eye of Mick the Builder from Westburg Construction, these exceptional athletes will highlight their versatility, determination and skills across each challenge.
