Unveiling by former Taoiseach of third edition of The Addergoole Titanic Story

A FANTASTIC opportunity to step into the captivating world of the Titanic as the third edition of The Addergoole Titanic Story by Pauline Barrett is unveiled.

All are welcome to attend the launch on Monday, July 3, at 6.30 p.m. in Castle Book Shop, situated on Main Street, Castlebar, for an extraordinary event.

Former Taoiseach Enda Kenny will be present to officially launch the event, joined by renowned diver and explorer, Rory Golden, whose contributions to Titanic expeditions have left an indelible mark on history.

Rory Golden, the first Irish diver to set foot on the legendary Titanic wreck, played a pivotal role in the 2000 and 2005 expeditions. His unwavering dedication to preserving the Titanic's history has led him to make astounding discoveries, including the ship's wheel, an artefact untouched since the fateful sinking in 1912.

During the book launch, Rory Golden will captivate the audience with enthralling tales from his expeditions, sharing his unique experiences and profound insights.

The Addergoole Titanic Story has captured the hearts of readers since its initial release, with the first two editions selling out rapidly.

In response to the continuous demand and huge interest in the unique stories of the 14 passengers from the central Mayo parish, the Addergoole Titanic Society has published this eagerly awaited third edition.
