Dutch company acquires major Mayo agricultural supplier

In a move aimed at expanding its presence in the Irish market, Dutch agricultural parts and accessories company, Kramp, has announced the acquisition of Genfitt, the largest independent wholesale supplier of components, machinery parts, and spares to the agricultural industry in Ireland.
Genfitt, founded in 1973 and headquartered in Kiltimagh, co. Mayo has established itself as a leader in the Irish market with a strong commitment to service excellence, technical expertise, and a diverse product portfolio. With its distribution hub in Kiltimagh, Genfitt is able to efficiently dispatch orders to any part of the country within 24 hours.
Kramp, with a similar history dating back over 70 years, was founded in Varsseveld, Netherlands, and has grown to become a renowned provider of parts and accessories for the agricultural industry, operating in 24 countries. The acquisition of Genfitt aligns with Kramp's growth strategy and its aim to become an essential partner in the agricultural sector.
The joining of these two companies is expected to create synergies and strengthen their presence in the Irish market. Customers of both Kramp and Genfitt will benefit from an expanded product assortment, improved delivery times, and access to an extended network of suppliers, partners, technical knowledge, and services.
According to Kramp Group CEO, Eddie Perdok, the acquisition marks a significant milestone in the company's growth journey and highlights the importance of the Irish agricultural industry.
