Noel Dee Memorial Golf Classic for Mayo Roscommon Hospice

The Noel Dee Memorial Golf Classic will take place on July 28 and 29 in Ballina Golf Club. All proceeds raised will go to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, where Noel spent his last days.

Noel was an accomplished golfer at Ballina Golf Club, where he was also a club captain. He had a life-long commitment to junior golf and he developed junior programmes.

Anyone interested in entering a team can call Ballina Golf Club on (096) 21050. It’s €15 per members and €25 for non-members. The prize-giving ceremony will take place at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, at Ballina Golf Club.

Martina Jennings, CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, said: “Ballina Golf Club was a major part of Noel’s life so it’s the perfect location for his memorial golf classic. I’m delighted to announce that all of the funds raised during the event will go to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, ensuring that patients and their families in both Mayo and Roscommon Hospices, and in the community receive the utmost care and support.

“I know his loved ones miss him dearly and this golf classic serves as a beautiful tribute, allowing his memory to live on.”
