Search continues for person missing in Achill

A SEARCH for a missing person on Achill Island is continuing this evening.

Sebastian Palma Sigmond, who is on holidays in Achill, has not been seen since going for a walk yesterday (Friday).

Achill Island Coast Guard search and rescue team was tasked last night at 10.40 p.m. and searched until 2 a.m., with the search resuming this morning.

Achill Island RNLI and Rescue 118 are also involved in the search.

They are appealing to people who are in the area to keep an eye out and contact An Garda Síochána or the Irish Coast Guard on 112/999 if you see him.
