Mayo Sports Partnership launches inclusive summer calendar of events

FOLLOWING the resounding success of Sports Ability Week 2023, Mayo Sports Partnership has announced the launch of their inclusive summer calendar of events.

In collaboration with various partner organisations and local clubs, Mayo Sports Partnership put together a comprehensive week of activities during Sports Ability Week.

From walking to surfing, cycling to kayaking, participants of all ages had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities. These activities showcased some of the most incredible outdoor amenities available in Co. Mayo.

Sports Ability Week took place from June 19 to 25 and saw an impressive turnout of 400 plus participants who took part in 28 different activities throughout the week. The event received overwhelming positive feedback from participants and the community.

The inclusive summer calendar of events builds upon the success of Sports Ability Week and continues the momentum of fostering a sense of inclusivity and promoting active lifestyles for everyone. The upcoming calendar will offer a variety of engaging and accessible sports and physical activities suitable for people of all abilities and age groups.
