Impressive Mayo book their place in Nancy Murray Cup final

Mayo booked their place in the Nancy Murray Cup final with an impressive win over Tyrone at the weekend.

Both semi-finals were played in Omagh on Saturday last and the result is that Mayo and Wicklow will contest the decider at the NGDC in Abbotstown on July 29.

Mayo turned around the result of the Division 4 Very League final with a convincing 3-5 to 0-3 win over last year’s champions at O’Neills Healy Park, while 2022 runners-up Wicklow were comfortable winners against Louth, emerging from the Mattock Rangers grounds with a 5-11 to 0-6 victory.

Mayo marked their return to adult inter-county camogie in 2021 by winning the Nancy Murray Cup for the All-Ireland Junior A Championship that year.
