Aurivo embraces electric vehicle in sustainable fleet trial

OVER the past three months, Aurivo has participated in the Electronic Vehicle (EV) Commercial Fleet Trial. This pilot scheme, led by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) on behalf of Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland, aims to support businesses to explore the benefits of adopting battery electric vehicles.

Aurivo was granted an opportunity to integrate an electric vehicle into its fleet for a three-month trial period, allowing the company to experience firsthand the emission reductions achieved by embracing the power of EVs.

Speaking in support of the initiative, Garret Guilfoyle, group logistics and transport manager at Aurivo, said: “As custodians of our land’s future, sustainability is part of everything we do at Aurivo - our whole story is about sustainability and our learnings from this experience will directly support our transport decarbonisation strategy.”
