Mayo County Council postpone this evening's N5 closure

THE closure of the new N5 between Castlebar and Westport, which was due to close overnight for road works, has been postponed.

Mayo County Council has announced that due to the inclement weather, works scheduled to begin this evening on the dual carriageway have been postponed and as such, the road closure will not be in effect this evening.

Further information regarding works will be shared by the local authority when available.
