Wettest July on record for Mayo with no sign of the weather improving

The month of July has been a total washout for county Mayo, with it raining for every single day of the summer month.

Tomorrow will be the first day of August and unfortunately the rain looks set to stay for the foreseeable according to MetEireann.

Tuesday, August 1

The showers will become lighter and more isolated in the afternoon, but cloud will increase later and rain will spread from the southwest in the evening.

Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with mostly light to moderate variable breezes, but stronger winds at times along southern and western coasts.
