Mayo Women's League name July player of the month award winners

THE Mayo Women's Football League have named their player of the month award winners for July.

The McHale Agri Forest and Garden sponsored award for Women's League Player of the Month for July has gone to Manulla stalwart Aoife Freyne, with Swinford FC's Hazel Harrington picking up the award in the Under 19 League.

July was another exceptional month for Freyne where she drove her team to the top of the Mayo Women's League table. One of the best number 6s to play the game, she continues to perform at the highest level in the Mayo Women's League.

Swinford winger Hazel Harrington has been in outstanding form throughout the month where her side collected all 15 points on offer to sit proudly at the top of the Under 19 table.
